LIM College To Offer Master Of Professional Studies Degree In Fashion Marketing

NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- LIM College, which is located in New York City and focused exclusively on the study of business and fashion, has received approval from the New York State Board of Regents to offer a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree program in Fashion Marketing.

The MPS in Fashion Marketing is the latest addition to LIM College's graduate-level offerings, which also include an MBA with tracks in Fashion Management and Entrepreneurship and an MPS degree program in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management.

The LIM College Master of Professional Studies in Fashion Marketing is a 30-credit program. Courses are designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge about current marketing and business trends, giving them a competitive edge when pursuing positions in today's fashion marketing arenas. The first 24 credits are core courses which culminate in a three-credit capstone project where participants will utilize the skills they have developed throughout the program. Students will also be able to complete an additional three-credit internship. Full-time students will complete the program in three semesters throughout one calendar year.

According to Dr. Christopher J. Cyphers, Executive Vice President of LIM College, "The addition of this new MPS program is but one of several examples of the College's effort at diversifying its curriculum to appeal to a broader segment of prospective graduate students seeking entree into the fashion industry."
