Coverity Appoints Fred Gerson to Board of Directors

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Coverity Inc., the leader in development testing, today announced the appointment of Fred Gerson, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the San Diego Padres, to its board of directors as Chairman of the board's Audit Committee.

Gerson brings over 20 years of financial expertise and directorial oversight to the Coverity board, serving as Chief Financial Officer and holding board positions for multiple companies, both publicly traded and private.

He also serves on the boards of Klever Logic and Authentify Inc. Gerson was previously director and chairman of the audit committee of DivX Inc. until its acquisition in 2010.
