Jeffrey Epstein, Education Philanthropist, Funds The Largest Student Civic Organization In The US

NEW YORK, Dec. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation, which backs science research across the country, has provided critical funding to the Junior Statesmen Foundation (JSA), the largest political and civic organization for students in the US.

The funding comes at a pivotal time in JSA's history. This month, the prestigious Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation partnered with JSA to offer several ways to recognize students for leadership and citizenship skills. All JSA school members received a packet with four Ronald Reagan Commemorative Coins, to be awarded to outstanding student leaders, four Certificates of Achievement and opportunities to have student leaders recognized in the Ronald Reagan database of outstanding student leaders.

The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation was founded by Jeffrey Epstein in 2000 to support cutting edge science and has since expanded into supporting education and early development.

The Junior Statesman Foundation was started in 1934 with the recognition that young people should have a voice in politics, civil and international policy. The JSA provides an unprecedented platform for students to exchange ideas through debates, think tanks and task forces. JSA also offers the chance for students across the country, to meet with one another, to explore and collaborate on policies they are passionate about and to meet with political and civic leaders.
