TOA Technologies' Susan McLaughlin receives top honors for cable industry leadership and community giving
CLEVELAND, Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TOA Technologies, the leading global provider of field service management software solutions, is pleased to announce that Susan McLaughlin, vice president of strategic sales, has been named to CableFAX Magazine's Top Women in Cable Technology, 2012 list. The recipients of the Top Women in Cable Technology award are selected based on significant professional accomplishments, the individual's industry influence beyond her own organization and dedication to mentorship and advancement of other women. Last month, McLaughlin also accepted the Hero Award from Epworth Children & Family Services in St. Louis, Missouri, for her work with the non-profit to help strengthen families.
McLaughlin has more than 20 years of experience working for technology startups and Fortune 500 companies within or directly serving the cable industry. In her current role, McLaughlin manages TOA's partnerships with leading North American cable providers, advocating for more efficient mobile workforce management - working with operators to improve field operations, reduce costs and deliver a superior customer experience.
"It is simultaneously inspiring and humbling to be honored by my respected peers in such different, but equally critical, areas of work," said McLaughlin. "I am a great believer that women in cable and cable technology have the talent and inspiration required to lead change and innovation within this industry. Additionally, I am a passionate advocate for women and children who need support finding their voice, as well as for all professional women who dedicate time and energy to causes close to their own hearts."
