The White House taps agencyEA to design annual Christmas decor
CHICAGO, Nov. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AgencyEA, a Chicago-based event and experiential marketing agency, was selected to design, manage and produce the annual White House holiday decor for the third year in a row.
"We were once again honored to assist the White House during the holiday season," said Gabrielle Martinez, managing partner at agencyEA and lead designer for the project. "This is a unique opportunity to design thoughtfully crafted, interactive ideas that speak to all people and best represent the First Lady's spirit and initiatives."
In a close collaboration with the Social Secretary's office, EA envisioned the theme, creative design strategy and logistical execution. This year's theme "Joy To All" is a tribute to and a celebration of the classic holiday joys that warm our hearts and make our spirits bright.
"The simple traditions of the holiday season can not only remind us to appreciate all that is joyous in our lives, but also inspire us to carry forth goodwill as we start a new year," added Martinez. "This spirit is especially evident in the Blue Room, where the 'Joining Forces' tree expresses the importance of taking action to support military families."
