Mount Everest Commemorative Poster Released by the Himalayan Stove Project, Just in Time for a Holiday Gift
TAOS, N.M., Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The poster was created to honor the 50(th) Anniversary of the first five American mountaineers to reach the Everest's summit in May 1963, and the entire expedition that supported that historic effort.
The poster, created by artist Elizabeth Mercuri, is being released in a numbered, Limited First Edition of only 250, and is available exclusively on the website of the Himalayan Stove Project http://www.himalayanstoveproject.org. The poster was a collaborative effort by the Himalayan Stove Project and Jack Leustig Imaging of Taos, New Mexico.
