Time is Running Out for Virginia's New Year's Millionaire Raffle!
GAME OFFERS THE BEST CHANCES TO WIN $1 MILLION
RICHMOND, Va., Dec. 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The clock is ticking. The deadline is approaching to play the game that offers the Virginia Lottery's best chances of winning $1 million:Virginia's New Year's Millionaire Raffle. Players who want to get in on the fun need to hurry.
A total of 440,000 tickets are available for the drawing, which will be held December 31. Four lucky players will be able to start 2009 with a million dollars. Another four tickets will each win $50,000 and 400 tickets will each win $500. Tickets cost $20.
"There are still plenty of tickets left, but every day we are seeing increased raffle sales," said Virginia Lottery Executive Director Paula I. Otto. "Last year, when the same number of tickets were available, the game sold out. Players who waited until the last minute were out of luck."
